Each time I get optimistic and think that maybe the medicos have learned something about respect for ALL (imagine bold capitals and flashing lights here)human life, something like this bounces up to remind me that in far too many quarters the Doctor-as-god attitudes are alive and thriving. Thank goodness some of them have got the message and are both competent and ethically sound. I want them all to staff the hospital nearest to me!
I hope your friend takes them to the cleaners, and I can only hope disabled people who actually need to go to hospital get out at the other end without feeling a nervous wreck.
